Most people Don't Know This....

In Ethiopia, coffee isn't served just once. It's shared through three meaningful cups.

ABOL

The First Cup

Abol is the first and strongest cup of the ceremony.

Made from freshly roasted and ground coffee, it is rich, full-bodied, and marks the beginning of the gathering and ceremony.

TONA

The Second Cup

After abol, more water is added to the same coffee grounds in the create Tona.

Lighter in strength but just as meaningful, it keeps the conversation flowing and the gathering together.

BARAKA

The Third Cup

Baraka means "Blessing".

The final cup of the ceremony is often shared as a symbol of gratitude, goodwill, and togetherness.

By this point, the coffee May be lighter, but the connection it has is strong than ever.
